Jockeying For The Playoffs

Tonight the Central Texas/San Antonio area features a few tie breaker games.  One is for playoff seeding while others are “win and you’re in/loser go home” scenarios.

I’ll be at Lake Travis HS where Dripping Springs and Cedar Park Vandegrift are in a do or die tussle.  It’s a tossup but I’m going with scoring machine 2012 G Collin Tubbs and his Dripping Springs Tigers in a close one.

At Schertz Clemens HS it will be Cibolo Steele and New Braunfels in another do or die affair. I’m going to give the edge to the New Braunfels Unicorns and Senior Kyle Hittle.

At Rockdale HS, Bryan Rudder will tangle with Bastrop for the final playoff spot.  Rudder’s too athletic.  It’s been a tough year for the Bastrop community with the devastating wild fires, and the Bears will go into hibernation this evening until next year.

At San Antonio’s Paul Taylor Fieldhouse it will be Boerne Champion taking on San Antonio McCollum.  I’m putting my money on Senior Tripp Melcher, wily Coach Stan Leech and the Boerne Champion Chargers to win.
