Royce O’Neale Wins Sunbelt Freshman of the Week (Again)

StatSheet Sun Belt Freshman of the Week: Denver’s Royce O`Neale

Royce O`Neale averaged 28 minutes as a starter for Denver. In a 63-48 win over Louisiana-Monroe, O`Neale topped the Pioneers in rebounding with 8 and tossed in 80% shooting. Then in a 75-74 loss to North Texas, he led all scoring and rebounding with 21 points and 8 rebounds.

Amazingly, Royce O`Neale has won the  StatSheet Sun Belt Freshman of the Week 4 times. Tony Mitchell from North Texas gets runner-up. George Fant from Western Kentucky receives honorable mention.
