D1 Ambassadors Alum is Big XII Freshman of the Week

The StatSheet Big 12 Freshman of the Week Award

Texas D1 Ambassadors alum, Oklahoma State’s Brian Williams Brian Williams was on the floor an average of 38 minutes as a starter for Oklahoma State. His average in scoring (14.5 pts per game) topped all Big 12 freshmen. In an 80-63 win over Texas Tech, Williams tallied 6 points and 4 rebounds. Following that in a 64-60 loss to Baylor, he led all scoring with 23 points on 60% shooting. This is the first StatSheet Big 12 Freshman of the Week award for Brian Williams.

Big Shots Myrtle Beach Champions

The runner-up is Le`Bryan Nash from Oklahoma State (Dallas Mustangs) . Honorable mention goes to Angel Rodriguez from Kansas State.

The highest ranking freshman from Texas A&M was Daniel Alexander who finished 4th. Texas A&M has yet to win StatSheet Big 12 Player of the Week.  Alexander and Williams were team mates on the same AAU team repping the Texas D1 Ambassadors that won the Rivals.com Tournament in Birmingham, AL and the inaugural Big Shots Atlantic Slam II in Myrtle Beach, SC.
