San Antonio Round Up: Saturday, February 4th
San Antonio Churchill 74 San Antonio Madison 55
In what has become their trademark this season, Churchill went deep into their bench comfortably winning against an overmatched Madison team. Scott (2012) and Ben (2014) Mammell led the Chargers with 12 a piece, 2013 G Taylor Sutlive had 11 and 2012 Connor Lammert (Texas) added 9.
Churchill will enter the play offs as the deepest, most well rested BUT untested team over the past two months. Their key guys won’t have a lot of miles on them and that’s good. Question is how they’ll react when it’s win or go home. Churchill moves to the top of my favorites out of the area after Warren lost another game they had no business losing.

Junior G Chris Molina led the Apaches with 22 points.
How about 2011 Churchill grad Clark Lammert who walked on at Texas Tech. He’s busted his butt daily for months and finally is getting playing time for the Red Raiders. The hard working Lammert played 23 minutes last night against the Texas Longhorns, as Tech remained 0-fer in the Big XII. He scored 12 points, grabbed 3 boards and had 2 assists. He’s a testament to commitment.
