Baton Rouge McKinley’s Daryl Milburn A McDonald’s Nominee

Seems like there’s not a lot these days can be done without red tape and a whole lot of paper shuffling.  2012 G Daryl Milburn of Baton Rouge McKinley (LA) had received his McDonald’s All American nominee certificate, yet he was not included on the official list released last week.  His dad was miffed and called me about it.

I’m happy to say after several days of worry and frustration that the Texas D1 Ambassadors alumn now is up on their official web site as part of this elite club and receiving his rightful recognition.

Milburn is having an outstanding Senior season for McKinley as he’s averaging 17.7 ppg and 4.5 rpg.  He has deep range on his shot and is a powerful player.  Witness below, a backboard he shattered in last week’s practice.  Milburn should be one of the plums of the spring signing period this coming April.
