It took overtime to decide it this time and when the smoke cleared it was a different result than the first meeting. It took four Apaches in double figures including 2013 G Chris Molina’s 21 points and another 16 from 2013 G Sterling Holmes to finally hang the “L” on Central Catholic.

It tied the series at 1-1 on the year and for the schools and the Kite Family. Now elder bother Jerred Kite will not have to listen to his little brother Jorden crow about a sweep for the rest of his life. The 6’10″ Senior Kite also added 10 points to the Antonian cause.
It’s a Family Affair, and an Uncivil War (the only thing worse would be having your kids be Longorns and Aggies…lol). Jerred Kite a 6’10″ unsigned senior forward for Antonian and 2015 G 6’3″ Jorden Kite of Central Catholic banged heads for the last time in their school boy careers. They squared their record at 1-1 and likely kep their Pops, my friend Raymond Kite from wringing his hands creating a much more relaxed mood around the dinner table.
