Big Performance From Antonian’s Jerred Kite

Unlike guards who control the ball most of a game, “Bigs” sometimes only look as good as the opportunities presented to them by touching the ball in the right spots on the floor and on the amount of touches they receive in the flow of the game. Last night 2013 PG Sterling Holmes scored 14 of his own but in addition to getting his team mates involved in general he turned to the Big Asset, 2012 P 6’10″ Jerred Kite. Kite, a skilled face the basket player had 17 points for the Apaches in a dominant win.
A combination of injuries and opportunity have kept Kite from achieving much of the notoriety that was given to him early on. He’s healthy now and has improved his strength. He has range to 15 feet, rebounds well and shows promise as a shot blocker. Solid academics and an improved bounce in his step making him an intriguing late college signee this coming spring/summer.
