Player Spotlight: 2012 Chase Brogna of Houston St. Thomas

2012 G Chase Brogna has built a nice body of basketball work in his prep career. He was the District newcomer of the year at Cy Falls as a sophomore in 2009-2010. Last season he transferred to Houston St. Thomas High School and along with 2012 back court mate Christian Sanders they steamrolled their way to the Texas 5A TAPPS State Championship blowing out highly regarded Prestonwood Academy and Kansas commit Zach Peters. Brogna averaged 16ppg and had the hot hand in the ‘Ship as he dropped 27 points in the win.

Recognizing the need to move from the off guard spot at his high school to the lead guard spot in summer basketball, Brogna has proven to be a quick study. Count 5A TAPPS All State and an invitation to the prestigious Pangos All American Camp as part of his impressive resume’. He’ll play with the Texas D1 Ambassadors-Houston in the July period at the events listed below:
