An improving Georgetown squad gave Pflugerville a test for the 1st half, but the Panthers proved to be tooo deep. The Eagles got nice numbers from their Big 3; 2012 PG Mike Hardge (19), 2011 David Kerr (19) & 2011 W Logan Webb (21). Pflugerville had many more contributors, but most importantly they have Deon Mitchell (Northern Iowa). Mr Smooth scorched Georgetown, giving them 33 points.

Pflugerville Hendrickson 84 Manor 80
Seniors Jalen Harris and Jalen Washington had 29 & 25 respectively in the win. 2011 G LaDarrien Williams 38 points wasn’t enough to put Manor over the top.

New Braunfels Canyon 58 Schertz Clemens 43

This one was never a contest. Looks like 27-4A will come down to Canyon-Alamo Heights pending Alamo Heights being able to hold serve on their own court. They were led by 2012 P Andrew Poulter with 11 pts & 5 rebounds, W Ian Gulick with 12 & Senior Reinier Strobos who had 7 pts & 7 rebounds in limited action. Canyon is solid, and they’re big. 2011 W 6’8″ Reinier Strobos (M.I.T.) can be a force, if he can remain healthy. He’s a highly skilled wing. 2012 P 6’10″ Andrew Poulter is an emerging back to the bucket player with great footwork and a nice touch. He’s in the process of reworking his body and with a little explosiveness and increased strength projects to the next level.

2011 P 6’9″ Shane Minnick led the way for the Mustangs with 15 points.

Minnick is tough and improving rapidly.

PG Josiah Monroe (Texas-San Antonio-football) led the way for the Bears with 24 points.

2012 SG R.J. Rowan had the hot hand for the Chaps and turned in his most complete game of the season with 24 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists & 5 steals. Rowan had support from 2013 PG Will Morse who chipped in with 16 points. 2012 W Kyle Hittle led the Unicorns with 17 points.
