D1 Nation Alumni Update: Cody Doolin University of San Francisco

College exhibition games are winding down, with the regular season just around the corner. Wearing the familiar #45 from his days as a 4 year varsity starter at Austin Westlake, Cody Doolin shows his shooting form in yesterday’s win over D2 Menlo College (CA).

The true freshman scored 15 points in his college debut starting at the off guard spot and spelling at the point. Cody’s the son of James & Becky Doolin of Austin. A great student, person & team mate at all times Cody Doolin was one of the toughest competitors to ever wear a Texas D1 Ambassadors uniform.

Over the years we’ve played them all and Doolin was instrumental in the Texas D1 Ambassadors back to back Kingwood Classic Platinum Champions back when it was the country’s premier recruiting event. Doolin chose USF for it’s academics and the opportunity to play for Kansas PG Rex Walters.
