Chase Kocher Commits To Southwestern (TX)

Austin St. Michael’s Chase Kocher (below) graduated in the spring of 2009 after leading the Crusaders to the the Texas Tapps Final Four. An outstanding floor general for Coach Mackey Smith, Kocher decided to attend the University of Alabama to be a student. After a year away from the hardwood and having grown 4 inches since high school ended, Kocher has the itch to give college ball a whirl and he’ll suit up for Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX.

Now at 6’0″ Kocher should be an integral part of Southwestern’s program as he’ll bring a pass first mentality along with speed, quickness and tight handles to the table. Kocher played his summer ball with the Austin Kings along with cameo appearances with the Texas D-1 Ambassadors.
